KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Human Resource Department <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 15, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO APPROVE A RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THE UPPER <br />KITTITAS COUNTY DISTRICT COURT JUDGE <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Funding has been approved in the 2019 Budget to reclassify the <br />Upper Kittitas County District Court Judge from 69% FTE (full time <br />equivalent) to 80% FTE. <br /> <br />While the Office Administrator of the Courts has determined that <br />the workload equals 100%, the Presiding Judge has determined <br />that 80% is adequate for 2019 in order to provide funding for <br />other Court programs. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County Human Resource Department <br />Kittitas County Upper District Court <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Human Resource Department recommends approval of the <br />attached Resolution reclassifying the Upper Kittitas County Judge <br />Position from 69% to 80% effective January 1, 2019. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return 1 original to Diana Mackenzie, District Court Administrator <br />Return 1 copy to Lisa Young, HR Director <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lisa Young, Human Resource Director <br />
