--BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -ll_f3 <br />ADOPTING THE COMMUNITY WILDFIRE PROTECTION PLAN FOR KITTITAS <br />COUNTY AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE PLAN'S <br />ADOPTION PAGE <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners approved having the Kittitas County <br />Conservation District (KCCD) update the 2009 County Wildfire Protection Plan <br />pursuant to Resolution 2017-200; and <br />WHEREAS: The KCCD has completed the update and issued a final draft of the Kittitas <br />County Community Wildfire Protection Plan; and <br />WHEREAS: Adoption of the plan is a complimentary effort to updating the County's Hazard <br />Mitigation Plan now being updated; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby adopt the September 2018 Kittitas County Community <br />Wildfire Protection Plan. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners does authorize the <br />Chair's signature on the adoption page of the plan. <br />DATED this 2nd day of October, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />L~hrunnan
