Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />11/6/2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Board Signature on the Professional Service Agreement with Clean Harbors Environmental <br />Services. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste maintains septage lagoons at the Ryegrass facility. Per our permit the lagoons <br />are cleaned and the biosolids are land applied on the Ryegrass permitted fields. <br /> <br />The Solid Waste Department worked off of the small works rooster to find qualified contractors to perform <br />the necessary land applications. Clean Harbors was the lowest responsive contractor to perform the work <br />needed. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Prosecutor, Risk Management and Clean Harbors. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Boards signature on the professional service agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
