KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 16, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Department of the Army License for YTC (Yakima Training Center) Military Installation <br />and between Yakima County and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Secretary of the Army or duly authorized representative of the <br />Secretary hereby grants Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office a non-exclusive license for use <br />of lands at the Yakima Training Center Military Reservation for law enforcement training <br />as described in the license document. Our most recent license for these same activities <br />expired on June 30, 2018. There is no cost. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of <br />Department of the Army License YTC (Yakima Training Center) Military Installation <br />and between Yakima County and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return two signed originals to the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s <br />Office will return one signed original to the BOCC once it is received back from the <br />Army. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
