KITTITAS COUNTY <br />TREASURERS OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE:August 21, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED:Request to approve a resolution establishing an Investment Pool for Kittitas County and the creation of a Treasurer’s Investment Operations and Maintenance Fund. <br />BACKGROUND:As authorized under RCW 36.29.020, 36.29.022 and 36.29.024, the County Treasurer may offer investment pooling opportunities for local governments and districts located in <br />Kittitas County. <br />INTERACTION:The Treasurer has researched investment pooling, discussed this process with other County Treasurers who maintain investment pools, and met with representative of all Departments <br />and Districts with Funds that may choose to participate in the investment pool.
