Kittitas County <br />Public Health Office <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />8/21/2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to approve resolution to award bid for water metering vendor Badger Meter Company. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Public Health published a Request for Proposals (RFP) for water meters, meter reading/ <br />programming equipment and software in May of 2018 to facilitate the County’s meter reading and <br />enforcement activities through the Kittitas County Water Metering Program and the Pilot Program. <br /> <br />After review of all information presented by multiple vendors, Kittitas County Public Health recommends <br />that the County continue to contract with General Pacific, Inc/ Badger Meter for the Kittitas County Water <br />Metering Program. <br /> <br />Staff presented the full recommendation to the BOCC and Board of Health in July 2018 and received <br />approval of the recommendation pending presentation of resolution. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff requests the approval of resolution to award bid for water metering vendor Badger Meter Company. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Erin Moore <br />
