BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2017-If} g <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE RENEWAL OF AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />AND CITY OF CLE ELUM <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD and City of Cle Elum entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement <br />dated, August 19, 2016, for the purpose of providing Sharps Disposal Kits; and <br />WHEREAS, The duration of the Agreement is for one (1) year, with the option to renew for <br />successive five (5) year periods upon written consent of the Parties. <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to renew the Agreement, that is attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference, providing for a new expiration date of August 19,2022. All other <br />terms and conditions remain unchanged . <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution of a renewal to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Agreement with the City of Cle Elum that is attached hereto, and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />DATED this _--Li _St-__ day of ~J.s t ,2017, at Ellensburg, Washington . <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KiT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
