BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITIIT AS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -i 2>~ <br />TITLE: Ratify the Vice Chair's Signature on Contract Amendment Documents with BERK and <br />Payment Voucher for Outstanding Balance Due <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners authorized a Professional Services Contract <br />with BERK (Resolution 2015-124) supporting population forecasts used to create <br />comprehensive plan documents; and <br />WHEREAS: During execution of the approved scope of work staff identified the need to <br />expand services in the amount of $4,965 .00; and <br />WHEREAS: Payment of the requested additional work was partially paid without a contract <br />amendment and $1,085.00 is overdue for payment; and <br />WHEREAS: The Vice Chair did authorize the necessary contract amendment and payment <br />voucher on July 21,2017; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Vice Chair's signature on BERK contract <br />amendment documents and payment voucher for outstanding remaining balance on July 21, <br />2017 . <br />DATED this 1st day of August, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />o Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />K Y, WASHINGTON <br />au1 Jewe ,Chairman <br />~.e -C h.il'lnan ~ ~
