The grant would be utilized to purchase oil spill and haz-mat response tools and equipment to stock <br />the trailer. The grant will also be utilized to purchase quick recover tools that cnn be placed on responding <br />npparatlls to mitigate the disastrous eftects oran oil spill andlor haz-mat incident ulltil the fully stocked trailer <br />can arrive. <br />PI'oject Long D~scl'ip!lon; <br />Kittita s County fire districts have limited resources to accomplish a timely and efficient re s ponse to oil spill ancl <br />hazardous material incidents. To remedy this response gap, the Kittitas County Fire Districts and the Kittitas <br />County Emergency Management Department have teamecillp to consolidate resources through a centralized <br />response trailer that can be stocked with response tools ancl equipment. The response trailer could be <br />cleplo)'able anywhere in the county in a timely manner.
