BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. :;;0 lit -IJ 3t:1 <br />TO DESIGNATE KITTITAS COUNTY APPLICANT AGENT AND ALTERNATE APPLICANT AGENT FOR <br />PRESIDENTIAL DISASTER DECLARATION FEMA 4249·DR·WA SEVERE STORMS, STRAIGHT·LlNE <br />WINDS, FLOODING, LANDSLIDES, AND MUDSLIDES EVENT NOVEMBER 12 -21, 2015 <br />WHEREAS: The purpose of this Resolution is to designate Mark Cook, Public Works Director as the <br />Applicant Agent and Kathy Jurgens, Finance System Manager as the Alternate authorized <br />representatives for Kittitas County for Presidential Disaster Declaration FEMA 4249-DR- <br />WA Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides Event <br />Storms November 12 -21, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS: The purpose of this designation as the authorized representatives is to obtain federal <br />and/or state emergency or major disaster assistance funds; and <br />WHEREAS : These representatives are authorized on behalf of Kittitas County to execute all contracts, <br />certify completion of projects, request payments, and prepare all required documentation <br />for funding requirements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the <br />public, does designate Mark Cook, Public Works Director as the Applicant Agent and Kathy Jurgens, <br />Finance System Manager as the Alternate Agent for Presidential Disaster Declaration FEMA 4249-DR-WA <br />Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides Event Storm Winter Storm and <br />Flood Event November 12 -21, 2015. <br />DATED this 1st day of March, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHI N GTON <br />t2LL1fJ;~---- <br />Obie O'Brien, Chairman <br />G a'fy Bern ~t , Commissioner
