KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 5, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an irrigation franchise with <br />Timothy Peda along East Third (3`d) Avenue. <br />BACKGROUND: Timothy Peda has applied for an irrigation franchise across East <br />Third Avenue. The proposed franchise is to install a 6" water line <br />across East Third Avenue for access to water for the irrigation of <br />private property. <br />The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />Staff has received an email from Timothy Peda dated May 29, <br />2018, stating that he is no longer interested in completing the <br />project, therefore, withdrawing his request for the franchise. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a public hearing on June 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm to cancel <br />Timothy Peda's request for an irrigation franchise. <br />ATTACHMENTS: None <br />LEAD STAFF: Sara Folk <br />Engineering Services Manager <br />
