Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />May 15, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Administrator of the Kittitas <br />County Public Health Department on the Department of Social and Health Services Division of <br />Behavioral Health and Recovery agreement. (Effective Dates: April 1, 2018 through June 30, <br />2019) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The agreement is established between the Department of Social and Health Services Division of <br />Behavioral Health and Recovery and KCPHD to allow coordination and implementation of <br />prevention programs and strategies designed to prevent or delay the misuse and abuse of alcohol, <br />marijuana, tobacco, and other drugs, increase mental health promotion, and prevent suicide. <br />Program target populations and focus area are dependent on funding source and specific funded <br />exhibits. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on April 27, 2018. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on April 30, 2018. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Administrator of the Kittitas <br />County Public Health Department on the Department of Social and Health Services Division of <br />Behavioral Health and Recovery agreement.
