KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 6, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution to Award the bid to <br />furnish Weed Spray Materials for 2018. <br />BACKGROUND. Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Weed Spray <br />Materials in accordance with specifications. <br />Call for bids are advertised in the legal <br />newspaper in order to provide equal <br />opportunity. <br />11►1121 1[9]011 <br />Bids were opened on February 22, 2018 at <br />2:00 p.m. Two (2) bids were received and <br />deemed responsive. Bids and individual <br />chemical specifications were reviewed by staff. <br />Bid pricing for 2018 are relatively unchanged <br />from 2017 bids. <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve a Resolution to Award the bid <br />to furnish Weed Spray Materials for 2018 to <br />Helena Chemical Co. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Public Works Director <br />
