Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />March 6, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public <br />Health Department Administrator on the contract between Benton Franklin Health District and <br />KCPHD. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The contract between Benton Franklin Health District and KCPHD is created to help support the <br />efforts to reduce initiation and use of tobacco and vapor products in the Greater Columbia <br />Accountable Community of Health region through a comprehensive tobacco control program <br />focusing on policy, systems, and environmental changes. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Board of Health: N/A <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on February 16, 2018. <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on February 22, 2018. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public <br />Health Department Administrator on the contract between Benton Franklin Health District and <br />KCPHD. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />N/A <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Robin Read <br />
