1 <br />  <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-___ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF THE FUND SET ASIDE FOR <br />LEASING WATER FROM THE CITY OF ROSLYN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, By Resolution 2014-88, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created fund number 126 <br />(called Leased Water Fund) for the purpose of funding the lease of water rights from the City of <br />Roslyn; and <br />WHEREAS, the County intends to provide notice to the City of Roslyn that the water lease will be terminated <br />in 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, money remains in fund number 126 that the BOCC wishes to use the fund for expenses related to <br />acquisition and processing of water rights and developing and operating the County’s water <br />banking programs, including a metering, monitoring and reporting program for water bank users <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution 2014-88 is hereby amended to use the fund for <br />expenses related to acquisition and processing of water rights and developing and operating the <br />County’s water banking programs, including a metering, monitoring and reporting program for <br />water bank users to be funded by fund number 126. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that fund number 126 will heretofore be called “Water Program Fund.” <br />ADOPTED this _____ day of ___________, 2016. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />Obie O’Brien, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Paul Jewell, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk of the Board <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
