Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />March 1, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator <br />on the Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public <br />Health Department. (Effective dates: January 1, 2015 through September 29, 2018) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public <br />Health Department increases the original grant amount. The agreement establishes collaborative <br />work for Healthy Communities, Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease and the Stroke Prevention <br />programs. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s <br />Office on February 2, 2016. <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Auditor’s <br />Office on February 11, 2016. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Interagency Agreement Amendment 1 between Grant County and Kittitas County Public <br />Health Department increases the original grant amount. The agreement establishes collaborative <br />work for Healthy Communities, Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease and the Stroke Prevention <br />programs. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Clerk of the Board send notice of approval to the Auditor’s Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson <br />
