On March 16, 2016 the Council of Governments recommended the <br />amended Countywide Planning Policies be forwarded to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for approval. <br /> <br /> The Countywide Planning Policy amendments include reorganization based on the 14 <br />statewide planning goals in the Growth Management Act. Amendments to the <br />policies include input from Council of Government representatives and county and <br />city staff based on feasibility of implementation and requirements of the Growth <br />Management Act. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Proposed update to Countywide Planning Policies <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS interim Director recommends to the Board of County Commissioners to <br />approve setting of a public hearing to consider the updated Countywide Planning <br />Policies. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Angela San Filippo, Planner <br />
