To: <br />From <br />Date: <br />RE: <br />Kittitas County <br />Public Health <br />Department <br />Memo <br />Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department, Holly Myers, Environmental Health Supervisor <br />February 23, 2016 <br />2016 Yakima River Marathon <br />If the information stated in the application by the organization for the "Yakima River Canyon <br />Marathon" event is true, accurate, and there is stewardship in following through with such <br />statements then the applicants, Lenore and Bob Dolphin, have at this time met all the <br />requirements of the Kittitas County Public Health Department including: <br />• Food Safety and Service includes only pre-packaged food and beverages. <br />• Bathroom Facilities along the race course and at the starting line must include at least 1 <br />portable toilet for every 50 people. <br />At this time I do not foresee any issue arising that would otherwise cause or prevent the applicant <br />or any vendors who may come to the event from not being able to obtain approval of the <br />necessary permit applications from the health department prior to the date of the event. <br />Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. <br />CC: Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Kittitas County Board of Commissioners Clerk <br />Mandy Buchholz, Kittitas County Board of Commissioners Deputy Clerk <br />
