<br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO.: 2016- <br /> <br />TO AFFIRM KITTITAS COUNTY FAIR RATES AND FEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Director of the Kittitas Valley Event Center has the authority to <br />establish the various rates, policies, and procedures governing the Kittitas <br />County Fair, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the people of Kittitas County benefit by having available to them a <br />published rate and fee structure for the Kittitas County Fair and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to <br />establish or affirm such rate structures by resolution and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: a rate structure that is established by resolution protects the public from <br />preferential or arbitrary pricing, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: a rate/fee structure is currently in place for the Kittitas County Fair, <br /> <br />WHEREAS: items listed in Exhibit “A” will be adopted/continued as the Kittitas <br />County Fair rate/fee schedule. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: a Public Hearing has been held on February 2, 2016 to receive public <br />comment; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners affirms and approves ratifying the attached rate/fee schedule (Exhibit <br />“A”) as proposed by the Facilities Director of the Kittitas Valley Event Center <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2016. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
