Kittitas County Commissioners <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />01/19/2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request the Board of County Commissioners to sign the Shredding Service Agreement <br />#14668573Addendum #01062016 with Secure Shred. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Several County departments are contracting with Secure Shred to do our shredding. The current <br />rate these departments are paying is $16.00 per container. The first of 2015 the state bid changed <br />to a different company and the price was $4.00 per container. In conversing with Secure Shred, <br />they said they would honor that price, as it was a lot of work to collect and remove the bins. <br />This contact is for the $4.00 bin. <br /> <br />This addendum is adding additional department locations from the original agreement that was <br />signed September 15th, 2015 <br /> <br />This addendum is adding Solid Waste as an additional department <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor <br />Prosecutor Job #32415 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend the Board approve and sign the addendum #01062016 with Secure Shred. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return originals to Judy she will mail and obtain signatures <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Judy Pless
