KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 19, 2016 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge City Representation/Recommendation to the County <br />Airport Advisory Board, Solid Waste Advisory Committee and <br />Kittitas County Law & Justice Council. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg has held representative positions on <br />various County Boards and Committees. They have recently made <br />some rotations to the City Council members and what committees <br />they sit on. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Office of the City Manager, City of Ellensburg, sent a letter <br />dated January 6, 2016, requesting the County to acknowledge City <br />Councilmember Chris Herion’s representation on the County <br />Airport Advisory Board and the County’s Law & Justice Council, as <br />well as Councilmember Jill Scheffer’s representation on the <br />County Solid Waste Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge City Councilmember Chris Herion’s representation <br />on the County Airport Advisory Board and the County’s Law & <br />Justice Council as well as Councilmember Jill Scheffer’s <br />representation on the County Solid Waste Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />HANDLING: BoCC Staff to update the County Boards and Commissions page, <br />and notify the City of the Board’s final decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from the Office of the City Manager, of the City of <br />Ellensburg, dated January 6, 2016. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board
