KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 2, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the Appointment of Mary McClary to the County <br />Planning Commission Dist. #3 vacancy & authorize the Chair to <br />sign a letter of appointment. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there is one vacant position on the Kittitas County <br />Planning Commission Dist. #3. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Application from Ms. McClary was received 10/26/2017. <br />Staff was directed on 12-14-2017 to place the Application on the <br />first Agenda Session in January for consideration. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. McClary to the vacant Dist. #3 Planning Commission <br />seat, for a term to commence immediately & expire on <br />December 31, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign a letter of <br />appointment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the candidate and notify the Clerk of the Planning <br />Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees website. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Application from: Mary McClary <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II on behalf of <br />Commissioner O’Brien
