KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 19, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve Setting a Hearing for Tuesday January 16, 2018 at <br />2:00 p.m. to consider an Administrative Appeal of the <br />Thunder Ridge Plat. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners office received an <br />Administrative Appeal from Attorney Jeff Slothower on <br />behalf of his clients Marcie and Chad Stevens, relating to <br />the Thunder Ridge Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: According to the briefing schedule a proposed hearing date <br />of December 5th was proposed. However it came to the <br />attention of Attorney Jeff Slothower just before that date <br />that his clients would not be available and requested a <br />different hearing date. Staff has checked with Mr. <br />Slothower and his clients will be available to attend a <br />hearing on January 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve setting a hearing for January 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. <br />in the Commissioners Auditorium to consider an appeal of <br />the Administrative decision on the Thunder Ridge Plat. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 – Clerk of the Board <br /> 1 copy - Jeff Slothower, Appellant’s Attorney <br /> 1 copy – Dan Carlson, CDS Director & Neil Caulkins, <br />Deputy Prosecutor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Hearing – Thunder Ridge Plat <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br /> <br />
