This <br />year’s docket does not include any Comprehensive Plan amendments. This staff report summarizes each <br />proposed Kittitas County Code amendment and includes relevant documentation and proposed policy for <br />your consideration. <br /> <br />The record for each proposed docket item will eventually be presented to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with the recommendations you make regarding approval or disapproval of the proposals. <br />The record of this meeting and other information will be presented to the Commissioners in digital form. <br /> <br />The public has had access to the proposed docket items at the Kittitas County Community Development <br />Services Comprehensive Plan web page, http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/cds/comp-plan/default.aspx. One <br />printed copy has also been available for viewing at the Community Development Services front desk at: <br /> <br />Community Development Services <br />411 North Ruby Street, Suite 2 <br />Ellensburg WA 98926 <br /> <br />There are eight (8) items being considered for amendment, all within the Kittitas County Code. In <br />summary, the proposed amendments include: <br /> <br />1. Docket Item 1 – This item was recommended by the Board of County Commissioners <br />(BOCC). The amendment would require an event permit for any event where more than <br />100 people are expected to attend, and where a charge or contribution is required for <br />admission or access. An admissions tax may be levied or imposed in accordance with <br />KCC 3.22. KCC 3.22 is attached. The amendment also includes provisions for limiting <br />admissions where the size of the crowd exceeds the applicant’s estimated crowd size, and <br />provisions for indemnity agreement and insurance. <br /> <br />2. Docket Item 2 – This item, recommended by the BOCC, would exempt subdivisions from the <br />Adequate Water Supply Determination requirement of Title 13 when the subdivision is for a <br />government purpose that would render the new lots as unbuildable.
