KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 21, 217 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the Resolution Rejecting 2018 Public Works <br />Department bids for Petroleum and Lubricants and direct <br />staff re -advertise for 2018 oil supplies <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works solicited for Petroleum and Lubricant <br />supplies on 10/19/2017 and on 10/26/2017. Four suppliers <br />responded. During bid opening, staff identified errors on <br />staff bid documents creating errors on supplier bids. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Reject all 2018 Petroleum and Lubricant bids and re - <br />advertise for same with corrected bid documents. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Exhibit 1: Resolution rejecting 2018 Public Works <br />Petroleum and Lubricant bids. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
