Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />10/3/2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval for Patti Johnson Solid Waste Director to sign the Community Litter Cleanup <br />program agreement with the Department of Ecology. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste runs a litter cleanup program funded through the Department of Ecology. This <br />biennium the agreement were late getting out and caused the program to start late this year. <br /> <br />The Community Litter Clean up program pays for a youth litter crew to clean County Roads, Illegal dumps <br />and Public lands. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Department of Ecology, Prosecutors office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board of County Commissioners Authorize the Solid Waste Directors signature on the <br />Community Litter Cleanup program agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
