KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment <br />to the Fee Schedule for Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office to Charge an Optional Fee for <br />Lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Resolution is to add to the Sheriff’s Office fee <br />schedule a fee of $1.00 for the optional lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses <br />processed by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office as a convenience to those who desire <br />that service. This fee schedule was originally set by Resolution 2004-02; this fee schedule <br />will be updated with a Resolution and Ordinance presented on Aug 15, 2017 for <br />approval. All proceeds of this fee will be deposited into the General Fund, tracked <br />separately via coding, and earmarked exclusively for the account of the Sheriff. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This resolution was reviewed and approved as to form by the Kittitas <br />County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment <br />to the Fee Schedule for Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office to Charge an Optional Fee for <br />Lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return one copy of the completed Resolution to KCSO for our <br />records. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Heather Seibert
