KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Juvenile Court Services <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Consolidated Contract for Juvenile Court Programs <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Department of Social and Health Services Juvenile Justice and Rehabilitation Administration administers juvenile offender programs funded by the State for Washington <br />State Juvenile Court interventions resultant from youth being found guilty of offenses. This County Program Agreement sets the parameters for the interventions available by statute <br />for that purpose. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the contract. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Chair’s signature to obligate the funding aspect of the document leaving room for the administrative authority of the court, i.e. the Presiding Judge of the <br />Superior Court room to also sign. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Request signed documents be returned to JCA to pursue DSHS signature and subsequent return of an original fully executed document to the BOCC for County records. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: County Program Agreement Consolidated Contract FY 18-19, DSHS Agreement Number 1763-96341 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Michael Stafford, Juvenile Court Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
