<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 01, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) consider the <br />recommendation list from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee <br />(LTAC) regarding the Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality- <br />Owned Capital Projects and Operations Applications. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met in an open public <br />meeting on July 13, 2017 and reviewed and rated the Tourism- <br />Related, Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and <br />Operations Grant Applications. The LTAC voted to forward the four <br />grant applications which received a minimum score of 75 points and <br />above to the BOCC to consider for funding. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The LTAC also voted to recommend allocating $207,000 for the <br />County’s Grant funding request with eight different components; with <br />structured language in the Forest Service Agreement for deliverables; <br />and language in the Agreement with the Town to Teanaway project <br />with the understanding that the County is willing to help with the plan <br />structure, but may not necessarily approve of the plan. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC consider the recommendation list from the LTAC <br />regarding the Small-scale, municipality-owned capital project and <br />Operations grant applications for funding. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> Copy-Auditor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: LTAC Recommendation <br /> Small Scale Grant Applications <br /> Resolution <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
