BOARD OF COUNTY COTNLAIISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2017 - <br />RESOLUTION ANIENDING PREVIOUSLY PASSED RESOLUTION AWARDING <br />FUNDING FOR GRANTS PURSUANT TO LAW AND JUSTICE COUNCIL <br />REC0NLNIENDATIONS ON SPENDING OF 1/10TH OF I% SALES TAX RESERVES <br />'WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Law and Justice Council met at their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on September 21, 2016, and voted unanimously for the below described funding <br />recommendation; and <br />'WHEREAS: The expenditure shall be made from the 1/10"' of 1% sales tax reserve account <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners for spending on special <br />projects to foster cooperation, sharing of resources and enhancement of criminal <br />justice projects within Kittitas County; and <br />`VHEREAS: Funding is to be made available January 1, 2017 except where noted as available <br />upon approval of this resolution; and <br />WHEREAS: This amendment is based upon the attached records provided showing that Mr. <br />Musser personally instead of any official entity of the Ellensburg School District <br />paid for the items for which reimbursement is sought and was previously <br />approved, and <br />WHEREAS: The Chair of the Law and Justice Council has reviewed the documents and <br />request, and sought this amendment, and <br />WHEREAS: Mr. Musser should be reimbursed as promptly as possible in the normal course of <br />operations once the originally issued warrant is returned to the Kittitas County <br />Auditor and made void according to the practices of that office based upon the <br />intent of the Law and Justice Council and the facts shown in the above referenced <br />attachments <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby adopts the following funding recommendations as made by the Kittitas County Law and <br />Justice Council and these expenditures shall be made from the 1/101h of 1% sales tax reserve <br />account. <br />17-17 Neil Musser as an individual on behalf of Ellensburg High School L&J Student group start <br />up: $500.00 <br />
