KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 21, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to reappoint Galen Rogers (#3) & Holly Pinkart (#2) to <br />the Kittitas County Noxious Weed Control Board & to authorize <br />the Chair to sign letters of reappointment. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there are two members on the Noxious Weed Control <br />Board with terms coming to an end. These positions are held by a <br />Section #2 & Section #3 Resident. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On February 14, 2017, Staff received a letter from Todd Davis <br />requesting the Board consider Ms. Pinkart & Mr. Rogers request <br />for reappointment to the Noxious Weed Control Board Sections #2 <br />& #3. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Consider the reappointment of Ms. Pinkart & Mr. Galen Rogers to <br />the Noxious Weed Control Board Section #2 & #3, term to <br />commence 3/1/2017 and to expire on February 28, 2021 and <br />authorize Chair signature on letters of reappointment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to send letters of reappointment to the applicants and a copy <br />to Todd Davis, NWCB. <br /> Staff to update County website. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter of support <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board
