BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />NO.: 2018-________ <br /> <br />IN THE MATTER OF UPDATING THE PERSONNEL POLICIES MANUAL <br /> WHEREAS: Kittitas County has established a “Personnel Policies Manual” under the authority <br />of the Board of County Commissioners; and <br /> WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners and the Human Resource Department are <br />committed to maintaining a current and updated “Personnel Policies Manual”; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Initiative 1433 requires that paid sick leave be provide to most compensated <br />employees beginning on January 1, 2018; as a result the current policy requires <br />amendment; and <br /> WHEREAS: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The following are revisions to be made to the “Personnel Policies Manual”, <br />effective January 1, 2018: <br /> <br />ITEM # POLICY TITLE ACTION <br />7.4 Sick Leave Revision to policy language, <br />as attached. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the above revisions shall become part of the <br />“Personnel Policies Manual” for Kittitas County, as indicated in the attachments. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />☐ Clerk of the Board, Julie Kjorsvik <br />☐ Deputy Clerk II, Mandy Buchholz <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br />
