KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: September 1, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on Amendment No. 4 <br />with SCS Engineers. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has been working with SCS Engineers on the design <br />and construction phase of the new lower county transfer station. <br /> <br /> Additional fees are being requested for the following: <br />1) To perform addition wind study and design to the MRW Facility <br />and the Transfer Station building <br />2) For additional time working with the City of Ellensburg on the <br />Storm Water plan. <br />3) Additional Construction phase support services <br />4) Record Drawing review <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: SCS Engineers, and Solid Waste <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval for Chairs signature on Amendment <br />No. 4 with SCS Engineers. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed copy to Solid Waste. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Amendments and cost breakdown. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Director <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
