BOARD OF COIINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COI.]NTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTIO N No. 2026 - \ Lq <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT F'OR THE HORIZONTAL CURVE SAFETY PROJECT <br />(cRP 3lg-23),AI\D AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE <br />TIIE SAME <br />WHEREAS: The call for sealerl hirls supporting the Horizontal Cun'o Safoty Projcct (CRl <br />319-23) was authorized by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners on June <br />76,2026; atd <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW <br />36.7 7 .020 Contract Procedures; and <br />yHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on July 9,2026, at 10:00 am; and <br />WHEREAS: There were three (3) responsive bids received for review; and <br />WHEREAS: The lowest responsive bid was from M2Industrial, Inc. in the amount of <br />5370,947 ,00; and <br />WIIEREAS: The Public Works Director recommends the lowest responsive bid be accepted; <br />and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in <br />the best interest of the County to award the Contract for the Horizontal Curve <br />Safety Project to M2 Industrial, Inc.; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is authorized to sign contract <br />documents for said Project. <br />DATED on this at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTIT COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Attest: <br />!
