04/28/2026 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00PM APRIL 28, 2026 <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman, Brett Wachsmith; Commissioner, <br />Laura Osiadacz. Chairman Cory Wright-Excused. <br />Others: Jodi Larsen, Office Administrator; Amy McGuffin, Executive <br />Director, Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS: NONE SPECIAL MEETING CHAMBER CEO-ADO UPDATE COMMISSIONERS <br />At 2:00 P.M. VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Special Meeting with <br />the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. Amy McGuffin, Executive <br />Director of the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce updated the <br />Board on the Associate Development Organization’s(ADO)progress on <br />the following items: <br />Thorp Mill, <br />CEDS Outreach, <br />State of Community Forum, <br />America 250 <br />Yakima River Access Plan, <br />Workforce Development & CTE, <br />SBDC Partnership, <br />Choose Kittitas County:EDD, <br />Opportunity Zones:Nominations for additional tracs <br /> <br />Ms. McGuffin reviewed the 2027-2029 Budgets for both the ADO and the <br />allocated .09 revenue. Due to significant reductions in State <br />funding Ms. McGuffin encouraged the Board to discuss and confirm the <br />ADO’s priorities moving forward. <br /> <br />Ms. McGuffin also stated that: The Accelerator Program, The <br />Innovation Center, The Tech School, and The Micro Certification for <br />professional development, remain part of the ongoing Strategic Plan. <br />Ms. McGuffin will continue to provide updates on these programs as <br />they progress. <br /> <br /> OTHER BUSINESS - NONE <br />The meeting concluded at 3:04 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
