KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 17, 2026 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board of County Commissioners’ approval to sign Change <br />Order No. 6 on the Rodeo Arena Improvement Project. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The County has been working on renovations and improvements to <br />the existing Kittitas County Rodeo Arena, as part of the project with <br />have run into unknown conditions and to make other changes to <br />accommodate operations of the facility. <br /> <br /> This change order includes Electrical Utility changes, Water main <br />connect location change required by the city, changes to the landings <br />and ramps for the walk bridge, and a credit for changing on site <br />domestic water to HDPE from copper. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: ALSC Architects, Event Center Staff, and Maintenance. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards approval to for Chairs signature on Change <br />Order No. 6 for Kittitas County Rodeo Arena Improvement Project. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Change Order 6 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
