BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- AA <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF THE FERGUSON GROUP FOR THE <br />CONFERENCE OF GOVERNMENTS REGIONAL ADVOCACY AND FEDERAL <br />FUNDING STRATEGY SER\TCES AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications in <br />August 2025, for professional regional advocacy and federal funding strategy services; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due on August 29,2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Two (2) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: A team comprised of Kittitas Counfy Public Works staff, two (2) Conference of <br />Governments members, and Central Washington University representative reviewed <br />the submittals and recommends The Ferguson Group be selected to provide the <br />Conference of Governments with Regional Advocacy and Federal Funding Strategy <br />Services; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL\{ED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />Counfy, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select The Ferguson Group for the <br />Conference of Governments Regional Advocacy and Federal Funding Strategy Services and <br />authorize the Public Works Director to negotiate and sign the professional services agreement. <br />NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding be approved through the Distressed County <br />Sales and Use Tax Fund 108. <br />DATED this 4th day ofNovember 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Cory Wright, <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett achsmith, Commissioner
