BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- }Til <br />AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF SCJ ALLIANCE FOR THE WATER DISTRICT <br />NO. 6 (VANTAGE) SANITARY SEWER FEASIBILITY STUDY AND AUTHORIZETHE <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications in <br />July 2025, for professional wastewater system assessment services to analyze existing <br />Water District No. 6 (Vantage) wastewater treatment facilities; and <br />WHEREAS: Submittals were due on July 24,2025; and <br />WHEREAS: Three (3) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: A team comprised of Kittitas County Public Works staff, a Conference of <br />Governments member, and Water District No. 6 representative reviewed the <br />submittals and recommends SCJ Alliance be selected for the Water District No. 6 <br />(Vantage) Sanitary Sewer Feasibility Study; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL\{ED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washinglon, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select SCJ Alliance for the Water <br />District No. 6 (Vantage) Sanitary Sewer Feasibility Study and authorize the Public Works Director to <br />negotiate and sign the professional services agreement. <br />NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding be approved through the Distressed County <br />Sales and Use Tax Fund 108 in an amount not to exceed 50,000.00. <br />DATED this 7th day of October 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />n Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ffitepty Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett <br />Vice-Chairman
