BACKGROUND: Ki*ttl*tas County maintains a water banking program that is INTERACTION: RECOMMENDATION, accepted b'y the Washington State Department of Ecology (WDOE) and administered by the Public Works Department. Suncadia Resort LLC wishes to sell portions of its water bank. On December 23, 2024, Kittitas County entered into a purchase and sale agreement for the beneficial interests in the water rights assigned Certificate Nos. S4-83717-J. S4-83719-J, S4-85214-J, S4-85193mJ, and S4-8521 I -J. which was ratified by Resolution 2025- 020. The purchase and sale agreement was contingent upon receipt did not of fur c in(y from the WnOF., which Kittitno, County successfully obtain.
