KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 2nd, 2025 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum and Kittitas County for the <br />Housing of Inmates. <br />BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between The Town of South Cle Elum <br />and Kittitas County for the housing of inmates commencing January 1, 2026 and ending <br />December 31, 2028. The Town shall be billed quarterly, and the stated rates do not <br />include medical costs. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Interlocal Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between the Town of South Cle Elum and Kittitas County for the <br />Housing of Inmates. <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will <br />provide to The Town for their records. <br />LEAD STAFF: LEC Duncan <br />
