<br />The Board County Commissioners will meet to approve, deny, or continue the public hearing to adopt the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County at 2:00 pm on December 16, 2025, at the Commissioners’ Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Per Washington State Department of Commerce, communities are required to have a local homeless and housing plan.  Plans must include, at a minimum, the state required plan objectives, a collaborative planning process, and measures of success. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />On October 16, 2025, the local homeless housing task force, Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee, formally recommended the adoption of the draft 2025-2030 local plan. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The plan is available online at <br />https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/health/human-services/affordable-housing.aspxKittitas County Public Health | Human Services | Homelessness & Affordable Housing for review. Comments about the 2025-2030 Local Homeless Housing Plan for Kittitas County may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County Board of Commissioners up until the time of the public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Commissioners’ Auditorium is handicap accessible.  Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
