RESOLUTION 25-20
SUBJECT: SURRENDER FUNDS TO DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE
WHEREAS, The following Kittitas County Warrants were issued and never presented
for payment and is outstanding, and
WHEREAS, The District has exercised due diligence in reestablishing communications with
the warrant payee in means of emails, mailed letters, and phone calls,and
WHEREAS, The amounts listed below are determined to be unclaimed and presumed
abandoned property as codified by Chapter 63.29 RCW, Washington State
Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, and

WHEREAS, The District elects to surrender to the State of Washington Department of
Revenue custody of the unclaimed property thereby indemnifying the
District, and now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Board of Fire Commissioners, Kittitas County Fire
District 2, by virtue of this resolution hereby declares the list above
surrendered to the State of Washington Department of Revenue.
Adopted this 9th day of October 2025, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of
Commissioners
