KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5th ROOM 109 <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 2:30 PM September 22, 2025 <br />Board members present: Chair Laura Osiadacz, Vice Chair Cory Wright, and <br />Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br />Others: Jamey Ayling, Jeremy Johnston, and Shannon Johnson, Community <br />Development Services, Stephanie Hartung, Prosecuting Attorney's Office, <br />Clay White, Kimley-Horn, Scott Downes, WDFW and (1) member of the public. <br />At 2:31 pm Chair Osiadacz opened the Community Development Services Study <br />Session. <br />CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />There were no citizen comments. <br />Kittitas County 2026 Periodic Comprehensive Plan Update Briefing <br />Preliminary Policy Review. <br />CDS Long Range Planner, Jeremy Johnston presented the staff report and <br />introduced Clay White, Kimley-Horn. Clay White provided a presentation <br />overview, shared feedback results of the September 9, 2025 Planning <br />Commission meeting, and expanded on the engagement process. <br />Discussion ensued regarding next steps and the coordinated parallel <br />process with the Planning Commission. Chair Osiadaca <br />OTHER BUSINESS - No Action to be taken <br />CDS Long Range Planner Jeremy Johnston discussed the Clean Energy Siting <br />and Permitting (CESP) Grant opportunity that he will be bringing to an <br />upcoming BOCC Admin.
