<br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025- ____ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County went out to bid for a contractor to provide services for the <br />New Search and Rescue/EOC Facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County received 10 bids for the New Search and Rescue/EOC <br />Facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: BORArchitecture has reviewed the documents that the bidders were <br />required to submit and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: BORArchitecture has confirmed that the lowest responsive and responsible <br />bidder, Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc., is a licensed contractor with the Department <br />of Labor and Industries and has submitted a letter supporting award of the bid and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: It has been confirmed with the Federal Government website “SAM” <br />(System for Award Management) that Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc, has not been <br />debarred or suspended by the Federal Government; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, and having considered the review documents copies of <br />which are attached hereto and incorporated by reference, hereby awards the bid for the <br />New Search and Rescue/EOC Facility to Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2025. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner
