KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />WEDNESDAY 8:02 AM I September 3, 2025 <br />Board members present: Vice -Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Sheriff Clay Myers, Chief Darren Higashiyama, Facilities Director Patti Stacey and <br />Assist. Maintenance Director Cody Cupp. <br />Citizen Comments — None. <br />Discussion on generator — Sheriff Myers mentioned he would like a plan in place on the <br />generator as our big concern is the evidence room. Per Patti, during budget we were approved <br />one generator. Patti mentioned she has $30,000 in her budget. Patti will have an electrical <br />engineer go to the Sheriff's Office to see what it will take to light up the whole Sheriff's Office <br />building. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith asked Patti if we can authorize you to use the $30,000 and to work <br />with Finance and Patti agreed and mentioned she can't do this until October and she has other <br />deadlines. <br />Other Business: None. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:23 a.m. <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Kim Dawson Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />2025-09-03 MINUTES <br />
