Kittitas County Lodging Tax Fund Application for Tourism -Related Infrastructure <br />Projects <br />Application Overview <br />This application is designed to provide funding for tourism -related infrastructure projects <br />in Kittitas County. Eligible projects must demonstrate a direct impact on tourism, support <br />visitor experiences, and contribute to the local economy. Please follow the application <br />format outlined below and attach supporting documents to this cover sheet. Project Overview <br />1. Project Description <br />The Ellensburg Rodeo Grandstands project is a large-scale infrastructure initiative aimed at <br />enhancing the spectator experience and their safety at the historic Ellensburg Rodeo and <br />the vast array of year-round events held at the Rodeo Arena. <br />The project entails the demolition of the aging stadium structure —including seating <br />sections AA through JJ, the catwalk, restrooms, and the Behind the Chutes area —to make <br />way for the construction of modern, accessible, and comfortable grandstands and <br />supporting facilities such as updated and expanded restrooms.
