Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />July 15, 2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution approving Interlocal Agreement <br />between Office of Superintendent Public Instruction and KCPHD. (Effective: Upon Execution- <br />09.30.25) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This Agreement is necessary for the successful implementation and operation of health and <br />sanitation evaluations of food service management companies (vendors), sponsor food <br />preparation facilities, and feeding sites operating under the U.S. Department of Agriculture <br />(USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) during the summer of 2025 as required by 7 <br />CFR Part 225 as a condition to the allocation and expenditure of USDA SFSP funding. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved July 1, 2025. <br />Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved July 1, 2025. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves a Resolution approving Interlocal Agreement <br />between Office of Superintendent Public Instruction and KCPHD.
