HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, KITTITAS COUNTY <br />205 W 5`h Ave., Suite 107, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />509-962-7082 1 hr@co.kittitas.wa.us <br />https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/ <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND LOCAL 792CH (COURTHOUSE) <br />TO CLARIFY THE LONGEVITY RATE SCHEDULE <br />This MOU is entered into between Kitbtas County and Local 792CH (Courthouse), for the purpose of clarifying <br />the longevity rate schedule outlined in Article 24.1 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The new language <br />outlined below is intended to clarify that employees may receive longevity pay at the beginning of certain years <br />of service. The effective date of this clarification shall be 5/01/2025. <br />Current Language <br />24.1 Longevity Pay: Longevity pay, in addition to wages, will be paid according to the following schedule: <br />Length of Service <br />Longevity per Month <br />At 8 years of service <br />$70 <br />At 12 years of service <br />$100 <br />At 16 years of service <br />$140 <br />NEW LANGUAGE <br />24.1 <br />Longevity Pav: Longevity Pav, in addition to wages, will be paid according to the following schedule: <br />Length of Service <br />Longevity per Month <br />At the beginning of the employee's 81h year of service <br />$70 <br />At the beginning of the employee's 121h year of service <br />$100 <br />At the beginning of the employee's 161h year of service <br />$140 <br />The Union was kept informed and actively participated in the changes indicated herein. This MOU will remain in <br />effect for the duration of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with the intention of being adopted in the <br />next Collective Bargaining Agreement. This MOU will amend the collective bargaining agreement only as <br />indicated above; the remainder of the CBA will remain unaltered. <br />By acceptance and signature below, both parties agree that these solutions are reached through mutual <br />understanding. <br />DATED this 2-1-fl' day of May, 2025. <br />
