HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, KITTITAS COUNTY 205 W 51h Ave., Suite 107, Ellensburg, WA 98926 509-962-7082 1 hr@co.kittitas.wa.us https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/ MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND LOCAL 2658 (APPRAISERS) TO CLARIFY THE LONGEVITY RATE SCHEDULE This MOU is entered into between Kittitas County and Local 2658 (Appraisers), for the purpose of clarifying the longevity rate schedule outlined in Article 20.2 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The new language outlined below is intended to clarify that employees may receive longevity pay at the beginning of certain years of service. The effective date of this clarification shall be 5/01/2025. Current Language 20.2 Longevity Pay: Longevity pay, in addition to wages, will be paid according to the following schedule: Length of Service Longevity per Month At 8 years of service $70 At 12 years of service $100 At 16 years of service $140 NEW LANGUAGE 20.2 I onaavity Pav' I nnpevity nay. in addition to wages, will be paid according to the following schedule: Length of ServiceV Longevity per Month At the beginning of the employee's 81h year of service $70 At the beginning of the employee's 12" year of service $100 At the beginning of the employee's 16`h year of service $140 The Union was kept informed and actively participated in the changes indicated herein. This MOU will remain in effect for the duration of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with the intention of being adopted in the next Collective Bargaining Agreement. This MOU will amend the collective bargaining agreement only as indicated above; the remainder of the CBA will remain unaltered. By acceptance and signature below, both parties agree that these solutions are reached through mutual understanding. DATED this 2? tt' day of May, 2025.
