BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTTON No. 2o2s - )b <br />A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMf,NT BETWEEN KITTITAS COLTNTY AND ROBIN H. READ CONSULTING <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF FACILITATING A LOCAL HOMELESSNESS HOUSING <br />PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, in its efforts to continue providing resources <br />to those in need via the Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Committee which receives funding via local document and recording surcharge <br />fees pursuant to RCW 36.22.250 and the Affordable and Supportive Housing <br />Sales and Use Tax Credit pursuant to RCW 82.14.540 RCW, to provide resources <br />to the community for those in need; and <br />WHEREAS, the County, through Kittitas County Public Health Department, plans to work <br />with Robin H. Read Consulting to facilitate feedback for a homelessness housing <br />plan via a Professional Services Agreement (PSA); and <br />WHEREAS, Robin H. Read Consulting will provide the following services: the facilitation of <br />two one and a half (1 %)hour Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee <br />meetings to generate feedback for the local homelessness and housing plan, <br />coordination with planning partners in development of the meeting agendas, and <br />providing summary data for facilitated conversations; and <br />WHEREAS' Kittitas County will pay Robin H. Read Consulting $125 per hour for this work; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the PSA is attached hereto and incorporated by reference. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorize execution of the attached Professional Services <br />Agreement upon signature by the parties. <br />DATED this /)rl- <br />day of 2025, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />WASHINGTON
